Où regarder August Rush
- stuhannaford22 avril 2026Heartfelt, uplifting, but perhaps leans a little too much into fantasy at times. There's the phenomenon of serendipity, and then there's this. All three leads work well, and you feel drawn towards them, hoping for them. However, as is often the case, the most memorable turn is Williams, in a role quite different to his usual, in terms of nature, who balances caring with greed, whilst clearly influenced by a hidden past, mirroring the current events in front of him. A little disbelief needs to be suspended, and some of the musical elements feel drawn out and disinteresting, but on the whole, it does what it sets out to do, and offers a little warmth in the midst of a sad story.
