Vasiliy Kutuzov, the namesake of the famous commander, ends up in a mental hospital because of his talent for inventing jokes. Everyone in his family had this gift, and many suffered as a result. The authorities did not like the fact that the Kutuzovs were bothering the people. But how can this people live in such a country without anecdotes? Vasily's neighbors in the ward are all famous people who have left their mark on history. So he amuses them, until the doctors decided how to cure him of this "ailment" .
