More Like Mad Snooze I couldn’t even finish this movie—not even while binge-watching, which basically means it lost to my laundry pile for entertainment value. I wasn’t sure if the director was going for a Mad Max apocalypse vibe or just a general “oops, the world ended, let’s make it artsy” thing, but either way, the result felt like watching a blender try to edit a film. The cuts were choppier than a discount salad. Or maybe it was just me. Maybe I’ve finally overdosed on Hollywood’s magical subliminal programming wand and my brain now automatically rejects every recycled apocalypse cliché. Either way, this movie is proof that even the end of the world can get boring. Would recommend only if you’re training for a nap marathon. 💤

- Dale Leer13 décembre 2025Afterburn is so bad and forgettable that I literally watched it two weeks ago and it took for me to watch the trailer to remember that I had. Within ten minutes I’d zoned out completely, and now I couldn’t tell you a single thing that happened if my life depended on it. Something about Batista trying to find some thing for Samuel L Jackson. I don' know what or why. It’s cinematic white noise, loud, bland, and was instantly erased from my memory the moment the credits roll.
