- The Hills Have Eyes
Even on a rewatch, the gore still gets me. The mutants are horrifying, and the practical effects make everything look so nasty and convincing. The sheer brutality makes this such an uncomfortable watch in the best way, and I still love how the family fights back. That rape scene remains completely unnecessary. The Hills Have Eyes - Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge
Rewatching Kalabar’s Revenge, and I love how it takes things in a different direction from the first film. It has a slightly darker feel while still keeping that fun, magical charm. The concept is really creative, and it’s such an enjoyable sequel to revisit. 🎃🖤Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge - Halloweentown
Revisiting Halloweentown, and it still has everything I love in a Halloween film. The magical setting, the unusual creatures and the mix of spooky fun and fantasy make it such an enjoyable watch. I love the idea of a hidden world where Halloween is part of everyday life, and the film has such a fun, charming atmosphere from beginning to end. It’s the kind of place you wish actually existed. 🎃🧡Halloweentown - Amityville II: The Possession
The dark family storyline made this much more disturbing than I expected. I really liked the atmosphere and the possession scenes, and the demon effects were genuinely unsettling for an 80s film. That ending definitely gave me something to think about.Amityville II: The Possession - Hackers
That opening with the computer screens, techno music and the whole over-the-top 90s hacker aesthetic immediately set the tone lol. Some of the hacking stuff was ridiculous, but it was part of what made this so fun to watch. Matthew Lillard as Cereal Killer was definitely a highlight too 😂Hackers
