Despite the talent involved, I couldn’t find anything that truly captured the spirit or tension of the original. The story felt oddly flat, the tone inconsistent, and the pacing never built the same creeping dread. I kept wondering whether nostalgia pushed the creators to revive V without fully understanding what made it special in the first place. The result wasn’t terrible—just disappointingly hollow compared to the miniseries that inspired it.
