"Dead City" amplía la narración de "The Walking Dead" en torno a dos personajes inolvidables que los fanáticos han llegado a amar, odiar y luego amar en Maggie y Negan. También explora un rincón de este universo ubicado en la isla de Manhattan, con un horizonte icónico que adquiere un significado muy diferente cuando se ve a través de la lente de un apocalipsis zombie.

The Walking Dead: Dead City Ratings & Reviews
- Junior Reyes23 de enero de 2026Here's my opinion broken down into the key points of the second season. * The "toxic" chemistry between Negan and Maggie: It remains the driving force of the series. The best thing about this season is that they no longer try to force an impossible reconciliation. Instead, they accept that they are two people who need each other but will never stop distrusting one another. That tension feels much more real. The atmosphere of Manhattan: Unlike the original series (which was mostly forests), here the environment is another character. The use of verticality, skyscrapers as fortresses, and the city's grime give it a visual identity far superior to that of other spin-offs. The return of "Old Negan": Seeing Negan having to resort to his old tactics as leader of the Saviors to survive in the environment of "The Dama" is fascinating. It's a necessary regression that makes us wonder if he really changed or if he was just pretending. Ultimately, if you liked the first one, the second is a natural evolution. It's darker, bloodier, and better explores the concept of rebuilding a civilization in the ruins of a metropolis. It doesn't revolutionize the zombie genre, but it proves that Negan and Maggie still have plenty of fight left in them. And finally, I want to emphasize… The power dynamics this season are much more political. It's no longer just about escaping the walkers, but about who controls the island's resources.
- Oʂɯαʅԃσ Rσყҽƚƚ29 de noviembre de 2025This show is so good! I love the way they keep coming up ways to use Negan. There is the same suspense and thrill that I love about all of the Walking Dead shows. I just want more episodes- the seasons are too short. I can't wait for the next episode.
- The Gutter Monkey15 de mayo de 2025Contrived and uninspired. It feels like tacked-on DLC content, just here for the easy cash grab.
- RipLinesMan4 de mayo de 2025Dead City a whole is like if Event Horizon (1997) and The Purge hooked up during a blackout and dumped the kid in post-apocalyptic New York. The whole show is just filthy, dark, and totally cooked. Maggie’s got that “I’ve seen too much and I’m ready to snap” energy—she’s basically zombie apocalypse Dr. Weir (Sam Neill) but with a crossbow and way more screaming. And Negan? Bro’s like Captain Miller (Laurence Fishburne) with a leather jacket and a bad attitude—always trying to hold it together while everything around him burns, bites, or explodes. Manhattan feels cursed, like the whole island is this slow-motion gateway to hell, and it gets grosser every episode. The Dama is mad creepy, straight-up boss-level evil—like if the Event Horizon ship came back as a power-hungry grandma. The show’s got wild walker kills, people double-crossing each other left and right, and so much yelling you’d think they were in space with no oxygen. It never goes full horror meltdown like Event Horizon with eyeballs poppin’ and people eating each other in slow-mo, but it’s still metal. Not perfect, but if you like chaos, blood, and brooding antiheroes with trust issues, this show slaps. Easy 3.5 stars, no notes—except more explosions next time, please.
- Scott Smith4 de mayo de 2025I like all three of the Walking Dead spinoffs, 'Dead City', 'The Ones Who Live', and 'Daryl Dixon', but I like Dead City the most. Mainly because I like Jeffrey Dean Morgan as an actor and I think he does a great job with the Negan character. I also like how they are portraying New York City after the zombie apocalypse.
