Maksimov, an alcoholic ex-cop, teams up with a police dog to solve crimes while coming to terms with his ex-wife's new marriage to his ex-partner. The dog refuses to let him drink his life away and forces him back to work... If only Gnezdilov would stop sabotaging their investigations the duo would be an unstoppable force.
