The poison even exceeded the standard in some places by 900 times. How come this wasn't discovered earlier? And what does this mean for the people who live on the water or have a vegetable garden on the polluted canal? Are their concerns about PFAS in their fruits, vegetables and eggs justified? And what about the rest of the Netherlands: how is it possible that more and more private individuals are discovering that their own chickens lay eggs that contain PFAS?
