The latest in the series of morning serials known as asadora Takei Chiyo is a poor pre-teen Japanese girl from a poor family, She could not even make it to school properly. Her surroundings and downtrodden Osaka neighbourhood does not inspire much confidence or allow for aspirations for the future She obtains a part-time job at a cafe where there are performances all around her. Chiyo begins to daydream about herself becoming an actress and travels for it.
