Baja DesertBear Grylls is in Baja, Mexico. He tackles overwhelming odds to survive the challenges of the desert. The biggest threat to his survival comes from a bee sting that swells his eyes closed. Half blinded he battles a deadly diamond-back rattlesnake.
The Deep South

The Deep SouthBear Grylls tackles the deadly swamps of the Deep South. He dodges alligator attacks, tangles with venomous snakes and uses his ingenuity to hook a catfish with his bare hands. He also follows the trail of destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina.
Ireland

IrelandGrylls jumps from a boat a kilometre off the west coast of Ireland. He travels down the coast before turning inland to cross the bogs. Here he retrieves a sheep carcass from a bog whose skin he uses as a sleeping bag (sheeping bag), a waterproof sack, and a flotation device.
South Dakota

South DakotaGrylls is dropped on a granite peak in the Black Hills where he is caught in a thunder storm with inadequate shelter. Down in the plains Grylls encounters a herd of Bison before entering the desolate area known as the Badlands.
Belize

BelizeGrylls heads to the jungle where he tackles a boa constrictor, he gets stuck over raging waters, and then he takes to the trees.
Yukon

YukonDespite his warnings about safety Bear takes some questionable risks in the Belize rain forest. He swings on a vine over a gorge, crosses a narrow log bridge above raging river rapids near a convergence of waterfalls and confronts a boa constrictor. But Bear finally builds a raft that doesn't sink.
Oregon

OregonDropped on a mountain plateau, Bear descends to a glacier then squeezes through an ice cave to escape. Unable to handle frigid river rapids he comes upon an abandoned mine and attempts to use it as a short cut though the mountains.
Dominican Republic

Dominican RepublicGrylls has some tips on how to survive the hurricane season and he also eats a cooked tarantula to survive. He tells us about the hairs on the tarantula's back legs and how they defend themselves using the hairs.
Turkey

TurkeyGrylls heads to Turkey where he deals with dangerous animals and he also takes to the water.
Romania

RomaniaBear Grylls heads for Turkey; from the freezing mountain tops to the lifeless Steppes, Bear battles white water rapids, takes on 100 foot climbs and confronts the locals; poisonous snakes and death stalker scorpions.
