Where to Watch Kung Fu
- Richard18 de octubre de 2025Saw this one on Dutch TV in the early '80s. David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine, the Shaolin monk wandering the American West with nothing but his training, his flute and his calm stare. It was slow, quiet and strangely hypnotic. As a teen, I didn’t fully grasp the philosophy, but the flashbacks to the temple, Master Po’s riddles and the “snatch the pebble” moment stuck. Caine didn’t fight unless he had to. When he did, it was graceful and brutal. The show mixed Western grit with Eastern wisdom and it felt like nothing else on TV.
