Personally, this is my favorite show of all time! The first four seasons alone are so good that it carries the entire series for me. You can clearly see in the later seasons where the passion was fading out for the show runners, and that is unfortunate. The material, the actors, and the fans deserved better from them.

Ending was rushed. But this show is still the best one to me.

The first four seasons of Game of Thrones was some of the best television ever. However, for new fans be warned that the series quickly takes a nose dive in its final season delivering one of the worst series finales ever televised and almost killing the franchise in the process.

My heart weeps. The show was completely gutted after the 6th season at best. A total insult to the lore and the whole narrative. I really feel bad for the actors who put their heart and soul into this project. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the show in the beginning, hence the absolute disappointment.

One of the greatest shows ever made for the small screen. Unfortunately the writers overtook the books a few seasons before the end and it really shows in the final season where we get a Hollywood version of the show which falls flat at every level. That said there's too much good stuff here to write this off over a poor ending. I still recommend this to anyone that hasn't given it a shot yet.

I’m binge watching and I’m on season 7. It was so much better when Sansa didn’t talk as much 😂😂😂😂

A cultural phenomenon, one of the best shows ever made. The end of Season 5 was the end of the source material and it clearly shows as quality degrades over the last 3 seasons. That said, upon re-watch many years later, it is nowhere near as bad of an ending as we thought it was. Just, nowhere near as good as it could have been.

I love it. I would want to see it again, but where can I watch it in Greece?

For me, Game of Thrones is the greatest TV show ever made. Everything about it hooked me from the start. The world-building, characters, politics, battles, music, and constant twists made it unlike anything else on television. It delivered some of the most memorable moments I've ever seen in a TV series, and even years later those scenes still have the same impact. I've watched the entire series seven times, and I still get goosebumps. Very few shows can keep me that invested after so many rewatches, but Game of Thrones somehow manages it. Of course, the final two seasons weren't as strong as the earlier ones, and I understand why some fans were disappointed with how certain storylines ended. But despite those shortcomings, nothing else I've watched has managed to top it. No show is perfect, and every great series has its flaws. When I look at the complete journey, Game of Thrones still stands above the rest. If you've never seen it before, I'd highly recommend giving it a chance. Despite the criticism surrounding the ending, it's an incredible experience that every TV fan should watch at least once.

All time favorite shows. That first season for me is special. I can keep rewatching that first season once a year. That's how much I love it.

Simply one of the best television series' ever created. Not for the faint of heart. Didn't love the last season, but overall the show was extremely memorable.

I was late to Game of Thrones, but once I caught up, I understood why it had become such a cultural weather system. The first half of the series is still remarkable television: politically sharp, visually rich, full of characters who feel shaped by history rather than simply dropped into plot. Ned Stark, Tyrion, Cersei, Jaime, Daenerys, Jon, Arya, Sansa, Theon, Brienne, and the Hound all gave the show different ways to explore power, survival, shame, honour, revenge, and the terrible cost of wanting the wrong things too badly. Its greatest strength was patience. The early seasons let choices ferment. A marriage decision, a secret, an insult, a debt, a lie — all could become catastrophe episodes later. That made the shocks land because they were not random. They were earned. The problem came as the show moved beyond George R.R. Martin’s published novels. Season six still had major highs, but seasons seven and eight increasingly compressed the emotional and political logic. Armies moved too quickly. Characters changed too abruptly. Long-running threats were resolved with surprising speed. The final season had scale, but not enough breathing room. Even so, the craft remains hard to ignore: the casting, production design, music, costumes, locations, and sheer sense of television ambition. I still think the final destination points could have worked with more time. Daenerys’ tragedy, Jon’s burden, Sansa’s sovereignty, Arya’s escape, Bran as memory, the throne destroyed — these are not bad ideas. They simply needed more road. A massive, flawed, unforgettable series. The ending still irritates me, but the best of it remains the best of it.
