The focus of the five-part mini-series "Festmachen" is Malika (Salka Weber), who, after a successful career on ships, had her sights set on the crowning achievement: becoming a captain. But after a mistake that brought great danger on board her ship, her captain banishes her to land. There, in her opinion, she should first find herself again and get her life under control - after all, such mistakes do not happen by chance. Only after this probationary period will a decision be made about Malika's return to the ship. Malika is forced to temporarily accept the job on land that has been forced upon her and works in a small harbor as a mooring worker - the person who is responsible for mooring ships and boats when they arrive in the harbor (or releasing them again for departure).
