Chernobyl Ratings & Reviews
- ghost0ne2 de mayo de 2025I rate it 3.6… Not great, not terrible
- Rowan Krzysiak13 de febrero de 2025Consume, move on, consume, move on, consume, move on, tell your friends....and forget. In the modern era this show feels different because it steeps itself in the language of classic television. It has spectacle but not gratuitously, instead choosing to serve the settings, dialogue and performances with heightened poignancy and only where required. It was broadcast to a weekly schedule with 5 tight episodes that were all written and directed by the same two people; someone wanted to tell a story and they were allowed to. The co-production seems to have taken the best of both worlds by combining the money and polish of American television with the discipline and intimacy of British television. And then there's the subject matter. What really does go on in the small rooms of these foreign lands or your own land even that profoundly effects the lives and deaths of thousands. The unclean nature of everything will have you practically questioning your own health as you watch the nightmare unfurl. It's brilliant, it's not disposable and it will not age and in case you didn't know by now it's highly recommended.
- Cubane6 de abril de 2026A great 100% fictional drama. Soviet reactors don't explode.
- Ty Leet5 de noviembre de 2025One of the best seasons of television ever.
- Denis Lischka3 de abril de 2026MUST WATCH !
- HomeNASMainUser14 de enero de 2026Perhaps the best mini series of all time
- brycoward15 de abril de 2025Chernobyl meticulously dissects the devastating consequences that arise when dishonesty permeates a system. It reveals with stark clarity how prioritizing political expediency and placating authority figures, rather than confronting objective reality, leads directly to systemic collapse. This isn't merely drama; it's a crucial illustration of how denying reality courts utter disaster.
- 0 12 de abril de 2026I know the series is a dramatized version of history but the cast make most of the film feel real and nerve racking.
- James Derksen21 de marzo de 2026The best decision HBO made was making this a mini-series. There's too much to fit in a movie. And it remains one of the best shows ever made, because it speaks the truth.
- AbOoOdH7 de marzo de 2026I think it is one of the greatest works in the history of television series.
- Jay Marie Bailey14 de junio de 2025Great cast, stunning effects and representation of the shocking events.
- Ian Gellings5 de junio de 2025This show is easily in my top 5. The visuals, the story, the performances this show is just straight up. Phenomenal highly recommend you check this show out
- tellum19 de febrero de 2026Liberties are obviously taken with historical accuracy, but I’m not sure that it’s possible to make a better representation of the event without being a documentary.
- รҡ૨אρƭเ∂7 de noviembre de 2025If your young or brainashed enough to think Communism is "cool" or "works" you should watch this film keeping in mind that it was the policies of this type of government that lead to this disaster which affects the entire globe.
- Tristan Halford31 de mayo de 2025Definitely easily in my top 5 best TV series I’ve ever seen, and well worthy of a full 5 stars. It’s so well produced and acted, and utterly interesting, captivating, and gripping right from the start. Brilliant all round!
- DeadlyDuncan25 de agosto de 2025Modern day classic. Acting is brilliant and gives you a good understanding of what happened
- Dennis Krause24 de septiembre de 2025ANOTHER BANGER STRAIGHT FROM PEAK CINEMA
- neuroparadox21 de septiembre de 2025Pretty good show! Thankfully the regime of the Cold War Soviet Republic bears NO RESEMBLANCE AT ALL to modern day USA, or whatever that crazy shithole country calls itself now 😂 They should really consider dropping the U 😂
- Sheraz Ahsan16 de agosto de 2025One of the best mini series made. Music, suspense, storytelling, visuals and acting everything looked at its best.
- Motaba Movie center14 de marzo de 2025Chernobyl sometimes plays up the tragedy of the disaster a bit too much, but other than that, it manages to create the best possible treatment of the case. The series authentically and meticulously processes all the threads and defining figures of the tragedy, while at the same time shaping it into a captivating, horrifying moving image experience instead of a dry chronicle. This would claim a place among the best of the year even if this effect did not last in the remaining two episodes.
