Charlotte Ratings & Reviews
- DarlingInThePlexx10 de junio de 2025Starts off like a quirky little anime about teens with mildly janky superpowers… and then it punches you in the soul and asks if you’re okay. (You’re not.) 🎭🌀💔 Directed by Jun Maeda—aka the king of “haha this is fun” turning into “oh no why am I crying?”—Charlotte lures you in with silliness: powers that kinda suck (invisibility to only one person at a time??), goofy high school antics, and a lot of “what even is this premise” energy. And then it shifts. Like, hard. Suddenly it’s about pain, sacrifice, morality, loss, trauma, healing—while still somehow managing to be funny and action-packed in between the emotional devastation. 🎢 The story builds in a way that feels chaotic at times, but by the end, you realize you’ve been swept into something so much bigger than you expected. And you feel it. You remember it. You may even rewatch it to yell at the screen again. And honestly? Worth it. If you like: • Unique takes on superpowers • Emotional curveballs • Gorgeous animation + music • That very specific brand of “anime sadness” that hits like a truck— Watch this. No spoilers. Just trust the process. 🫡
