Episodio #1.1November of 1916. Young Eugeniusz Bohdan Junod prepares himself for upcoming final exams. He enjoys spending his free time at his father's cinema - URANIA. Eugeniusz is also distracted by Ada who he loves. He doesn't do well at school and it is revealed that Ada doesn't love him, so he decides to pursue his acting career.

Episodio #1.2Eugeniusz is trying to find job at theatre. But he finds out that it isn't as easy as he thought it would be. Then, he has no money and stays in poor house. He doesn't give up and fights for his dreams. Unexpectedly, Karol Hanusz, an actor who he met helps him.

Episodio #1.3Eugeniusz has a job in 'Apollo' theatre. He works there as an usher. But he doesn't want to do his and does everything he can do to get a part. Nina, a dancer who works in 'Apollo' recommends him taking singing and dancing classes.

Episodio 4Two years pass. Desperate, Eugeniusz performs in dingy bars in Pabianice, where the Spanish flu epidemic is raging. He decides to move to Warsaw.

Episodio 5After years of struggle, Bodo finally lands a gig at the theater. He also convinces Ada to go to Warsaw. Meanwhile, the Polish-Soviet War breaks out.

Episodio 11Reri's stay in Poland becomes more and more complicated, and to top it off, Ada is coming to Warsaw. Bodo is faced with a very tough choice.

Episodio 12Bodo wins the hearts of the audience with the film "The Ghosts," co-starring Dymsza, but he is most happy when Ada arrives to give him her decision.

Episodio 13After the war breaks out, Bodo travels to Lviv with a group of Warsaw artists. The Russians already occupy the city, but Bodo is allowed to perform.
