Really good show overall, and everyone loves an underdog story. The show did a great job with that, which is a big reason why so many people connected with it. That said, I think it should have ended with Season 6. Season 7 felt unnecessary and came across as more of a cash grab than a natural continuation of the story. By that point, many of the main characters were barely featured anymore, and there were still plenty of unanswered questions. The show was also sloppy at times with how it handled certain characters, with some being written out with little or no explanation. I also found the repetitive “Captain Crenshaw” superhero mentality from Spencer, along with some of the message-pushing, to be distracting from the story. While those themes had their place, they were repeated so often that they sometimes took focus away from the characters and plot. If they wanted to continue the franchise after Season 6, a spinoff or reboot centered on the next generation, or even a character like Jordan Baker, would have made more sense. Instead, Season 7 felt like it was trying to be both a continuation and a reboot, and it didn’t fully succeed at either.🏉🏈

I've been a ride or die hard fan forever, and I was originally skeptical of the new season (Season 7) but I actually love it!!! It's so different but familiar in the same token.
