My only gripe is there isn't more of this afro samurai badassery ever since the anime feature, Afro Samurai Resurrection. The attitude, style, action and of course Samuel L Jackson makes this an annual watch for me

Take a kick-ass, action-packed, brutal anime, throw in Samuel L. Jackson, add music from Wu Tang and you have the one and only Afro Samurai. It has its flaws but will always be one of my favorites.

Afro Samurai delivers slick action, stylish animation, and over-the-top gore wrapped in a hip-hop-infused world that oozes cool. The fight choreography and soundtrack give it a unique edge that still holds up today. However, the series’ biggest flaw is its length—at only five episodes, it rushes through its story and character development, leaving you wanting more depth behind the bloodshed. It’s fun while it lasts, but it ends just as it starts to get interesting.

So rad, if not a bit tedious

Sam Jackson did an incredible job, fantastic show, very fun angles and exaggeration.
