Indira is a Mumbai-based actor, Athlete, filmmaker, and producer who made her international debut with the Feature Film The Second Wind (2025), which premiered at Cannes, marking her arrival as a distinct new voice in non-fiction cinema. Her short film Joba (2025) further established her reputation, receiving widespread praise and being showcased at prestigious international film festivals.
Indira formally began her acting career in 2022 with professional training at Rangshila Theatre, where she developed a strong foundation in performance, script analysis, and character work. This theatrical grounding continues to inform her nuanced approach to both acting and filmmaking.
In April 2024, she founded her own production house, Sweekaar Productions, created as a platform for stories that are honest, unfiltered, and brave.
