Zooloco
¿o no?

- Manuel Frangis25 de mayo de 2025I just watched Zookeeper and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is just pure fun. I know it is not trying to be some big award-winning masterpiece, but sometimes you do not need that. Sometimes you just want a movie that makes you laugh, makes you smile, and reminds you that life can be weird and wonderful all at once. That is exactly what Zookeeper does. It is goofy, light, and full of charm, and I honestly had such a good time watching it. Kevin James is so likable in this movie. He plays Griffin, the zookeeper, and right away you root for him. He is a kind guy, just trying to do the right thing, and it is impossible not to get pulled into his world. Kevin James brings the same warmth and physical comedy that he always delivers, but this time it feels even more playful because of the setting. Watching him work at the zoo, deal with animals, and struggle with love and confidence just makes for such a fun mix. But what really takes this movie to the next level is the animals. Not only do they talk, they give advice, crack jokes, and honestly become some of the best parts of the whole film. The voice cast is stacked with talent, and every single animal has their own unique personality. I could not stop smiling every time they were on screen. The lion, the monkey, the bear, the giraffe, the wolf, all of them are just hilarious. The scenes where they try to help Griffin get his life together are full of chaos and heart, and even though it is silly, there is something really sweet underneath it all. The zoo itself is awesome too. It looks beautiful, colorful, and full of life. The way they filmed it makes you feel like you are walking through it with Griffin. Whether it is the enclosures, the behind-the-scenes areas, or just Griffin riding a bird scooter through the halls, the setting helps the whole movie feel alive. There is a real sense of wonder in how it is all put together. What I really liked though is the message. Yes, it is a comedy with talking animals, but underneath all the jokes is a story about being true to yourself. About confidence, love, friendship, and realizing that you do not have to change who you are just to get someone to like you. That is something that hit me a little deeper than I expected. It is not trying to teach a heavy lesson, but it still has one. It reminded me that the right people in life are the ones who like you for exactly who you are. I give Zookeeper 5 out of 5 stars because it made me laugh, made me feel good, and gave me something unexpectedly thoughtful in the middle of all the animal antics. It is one of those movies I could throw on anytime and still enjoy. It is silly in the best way, full of heart, and totally worth watching if you are looking for something feel-good. Sometimes movies are great just because they make you feel better. That is what this one did for me.
- Jamie Talbot27 de octubre de 2025It felt like I had to force myself to get to the end of the movie. Adam Sandler playing the monkey was weird. Felt like the goofy movie he should’ve been in, but I couldn’t help but picture Dracula whenever he spoke. If it wasn’t for the TGI Fridays scene, it would get 1/2 star.
