- Jacob O’Neal27 de julio de 2025According to the director, this movie that people have dissected and tried to find hidden meanings in was just a drug fueled thing where if they had a crazy idea while high they’d just add it in. Somehow they made something that seems accidentally deep. It’s seriously flawed and poorly constructed, fur sure, but its atmosphere and its strangeness of throwing in panthers and toy soldiers coming to life make something that is wholly unique. The director has made three of these, but they’re totally unrelated to each other. XTRO is not for everyone, but if you watch it you’ll at least see a moody film with mostly solid performances, including the screen debut of Bond girl Olivia D’Abo.

Cuando Sam Phillips, un padre de familia normal y corriente, desaparece sin dejar rastro, sólo su hijo Tony sabe que lo hizo después de que un gran destello apareciera en el cielo. Pero cuando Sam reaparece tan súbitamente como se había ido, Tony sabe que algo ha cambiado y que ya no es un ser humano.
