It completely pulled me in when I was a teenager, and its strange universe and story still get me every time. It is fascinating, unsettling, and full of meaning, with the kind of dark, captivating atmosphere that makes Cronenberg’s films so unforgettable.
- Jovon Villarasa18 de octubre de 2025I don’t know what that was. Kinda portentous and obnoxious. Feels like even the writers didn’t know what Videodrome is. What’s real and what’s a hallucination? It keeps throwing curveballs just to confuse you. Like it’s more interested in being mysterious than making sense. I wanted to like it, but by the credits I was just irritated. I get that it’s about media control and how screens reshape reality, but it’s buried under so much bizarre body horror and pseudo-philosophy that it just collapses on itself. Feels like a concept that never finds its footing. Maybe I’ll revisit it someday.
