En un futuro donde es posible viajar al pasado, se ha creado la Comisión de Control del Tiempo, que realiza diversas misiones encaminadas a impedir la alteración de hechos que cambiarían el curso de la historia. Uno de los agentes de policía, Walker, que diez años antrás perdió a su mujer en un ataque criminal, regresa al pasado para rescatarla y acabar con el ambicioso senador McComb.

    It's a time travel movie so it automatically gets 2 stars. However, this is a bad time travel movie, so it only gets 2 stars. It's very corny and, in some areas, just plain stupid.

    Timecop is a fun, slick slice of '90s sci-fi that delivers on action and time-travel twists. It holds up as an entertaining genre piece, but compared to the atmospheric depth and lasting impact of Event Horizon (1997), it plays more like a flashy detour than a destination. Still, there’s charm in the ride.

    What a great, fun, stupid, action movie! Hyams is a solid director, and brings so much fun to this movie, while Van Damme brings his usual high energy that masks his acting. A really enjoyable movie! I haven't seen this since it came out.

    A way better movie than its reviews make out. Some cool sci-fi tropes and a fairly decent story behind this JCVD classic. One of JCVD's best films given unfairly baffling poor reviews. Watch and enjoy.

    Time changes technology and fashion but it can’t change Jean-Claude, who is forever a mullet, a badge, and a roundhouse kick waiting to happen.

    A very entertaining sci-fi movie with Van Damme. This is the one I recommend to people who usually hate his movies. Ron Silver makes a great villain and the time travel segments are always very interesting to watch. Also young Mia Sara was easily in the top ten of lovely ladies. And she does have a convincing chemistry with Van Damme.

    Good action movie with a decent story. Like any time travel film, there's always plot holes. But it's just an entertaining flick.

    It's a mid 90's movie about a cop travelling through time. The storyline is as you'd expect, acting is fine. It's fine, it's 90's Van Damme time travelling. It does what it says on the tin. Good movie to watch once (and only once).

    This is terrible for time travel and action, but somehow the story makes some insanely accurate predictions. "Special interests ruined politics, the white house needs someone so rich that they don't have to listen to anyone." That is a real line said by the villain, and I was blown away as an American living through 2025 politics. The movie even has white Cybertrucks. We should’ve listened to Jean Claude.
