- Tyler S13 de junio de 2026I remember not hating this in theaters and now 6 years later re-watching with my cousin I enjoyed it again. Sure it's stupid and has it's fair share of dodgy CGI but it's never boring and has enough Predator action to keep fans of the franchise happy. My cousin found the new squad of soldiers called "the loonies" hilarious and his amusement rubbed off on me, I was definitely laughing more this time round because of him. We had a good time and the 4K looks and sounds fantastic, recommended flaws and all. 👍👍 7/10
- Zokkiie2 de abril de 2026Really hooks you at the start, with energy, clever moments, and some surprisingly fun action. The middle drags a little, relying on familiar beats, but it still has enough charm and performances that keep it watchable. By the end, though, it gets chaotic and overstuffed, with plot points and set pieces that feel rushed and sloppy. There’s a lot of ambition and flashes of fun, but it’s uneven enough that the good parts don’t quite outweigh the bad.
- theLillyPad19 de enero de 2026Who let this movie get released? In competition with Badlands for the worst in the franchise, this is very bad for very different reasons. The key-jangling references to better movies is annoying and I never believe the bonds between most of these characters are formed so quickly. Watching it feels like those awful Sony Spider-Man spin-offs that are made to maintain the franchise. I wonder if this project wasn't made under similar circumstances. Finally, who's idea was it to throw an Autistic 10 year old to witness first-hand the carnage of a predator?! This leads nowhere good. Firstly, his nonchalaunt responses to the gore is genuienly chilling. Second of all, they rely on the offensive trope of autism being a superpower, and--like everything else in this movie--it's not done subtly. Furthermore, they forgot to have the Predator hunt anything until the last 20 minutes, and then for like 5 min. The Marvel-style quippy humor is frustrating, distracting, and annoying.
- Mister Arn16 de diciembre de 2025The Predator is a film that loses confidence in the original Predator's basic idea, instead of trusting the primal simplicity that made Predator endure. This film keeps trying to explain, modernize, joke, and out-smart its own premise, where the Predator played by its own code. Here, that code is muddled, constantly interrupted by jokes, tonal shifts, and an added child.
- Richard7 de octubre de 2025Starts off promising, some solid setup, decent tension and a few fun character beats. But halfway through, it veers into full on chaos. Feels like two different movies stitched together: one trying to be gritty sci fi horror, the other a campy action comedy with forced jokes and weird tone shifts. The cast gives it their all and there are cool ideas buried in there, but the story keeps tripping over itself. By the end, it’s hard to tell what it was even aiming for. Shame, because the potential was there.
