- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"30 de abril de 2026Apart from one awesome jumpscare and the hotel setting "The Innkeepers" didn't do it for me; tbh I love a slow burn but a lot of the build up just all feels like scenes and lines of dialogue, that don't even need to be there. And add nothing in terms of further developing and enhancing the overall story & plot. In other words its just there for exposition purposes to fill out the films runtime; instead of...for any significant foreshadowing or some kind of meaning. My Rating/Scores for Innkeepers are 2.75/5 Stars 🌟 & a 4.75/10
- Kevin Ward7 de julio de 2025The Innkeepers takes a long (and I mean long) time to get where we know it’s going. It withholds virtually all of the spooks and scares for the final 15 minutes or so. Thankfully the build up to the ending as plenty entertaining in large part to the chemistry and banter of our charismatic leads Sara Paxton and Pat Healy. They’re an engaging hang as the haunted history of the hotel is slowly revealed setting up everything that happens in the finale. And that finale definitely delivers on the chills. Several scares in the final moments had me completely in goosebumps. I think I would have preferred to have some bigger scares sprinkled throughout the first half. But if you can tolerate a super slow burn on the front end, there’s a good time to be had with this one in the end.
- ርልዪረ26 de mayo de 2025Enjoyable in bits and pieces although the sets are exquisite. The innkeepers has a lot of elements taken from the shining as well but it couldn't match to that classic. Well it is watchable movie but nothing worth remembering about. Rather than a few jumpscares and some moments in basement that really adds to the tension but in particular there is nothing about this movie to cherish about.
