La casa de Jack Ratings & Reviews
- Dany Estallo30 de octubre de 2025He definte;y did build that house
- stuhannaford8 de abril de 2026Not for everybody, and probably not for most. As per the usual Von Trier entry, it’s self indulgent, self deluded at times and suffers from a feeling of great self importance. The stretches of good, however, are absolutely brilliant. Dillon is excellent, especially in his lone scenes, and adds a sense of unnerving that makes him hard to watch, in a good way. It’s interspersed with long, drawn out artistic and philosophical conversations and thoughts however, which will turn many off I’m sure… and even if they aren’t, there is no getting away from the fact that these stretches are very long. An ambiguous ending, many questions raised, and on the whole worth a watch. Just be prepared to push through a few scenes.
- Chris29 de diciembre de 2024“If you feel like screaming, I definitely think that you should.” - Jack A dark twisted deranged film that brought back memories of “Henry: portrait of a serial killer”. It has been a long time sense I felt that type of gritty feeling in a serial killer movie. 🔥🔪🌬
- Richard Thornton22 de julio de 2025Unrated version is so disturbing I could only watch once. And I’m a horror fan. So… props I guess.
- ConnorR31 de octubre de 2025Started off good I couldn’t finish it because of how bad it got towards the ending, because what the actual fuck was happening
- tellum29 de mayo de 2025I didn’t realize nihilism and vulgar cruelty could also be pretentious and meandering until I saw this pile of crap.
- Niztradamus7 de octubre de 2025It's a typical Lars von Trier movie. You now, the guy that said on stage that he understands Hitler when talking about Jews. The guy that literally said "Ok, I'm a Nazi." The guy that could single handedly could talk his way from a parking ticket into the death penalty. He also made Antichrist, Nymphomaniac, Melancholia and movies like that. It is boring. So freaking boring. Great effects, great acting but just sooo boring. Even when someone gets killed Lars von Trier somehow manages to make even that boring. If you are curious, search "Lars von Trier -- "I understand Hitler..."" on Youtube. There's the whole desaster of a panel online, right for your pleasure. You can thank me later for this absolute hilarious brainfart he had live on stage.
