Where to Watch La guarida
- Zokkiie27 de abril de 2026I finished book today. I thought the film was barely okay before, but damn, what a shitty adaption. It throws away all the psychological ambiguity and replaces it with loud, obvious haunted-house stuff that explains way too much. It looks fine, but there’s no real tension or buildup, just effects doing all the work. Even the characters feel reduced to basic horror archetypes, so nothing really sticks and it just feels empty compared to what it should’ve been.
- mattyvx3 de diciembre de 2025This film is so awful, and surprising considering how well most of the lead actors have done with their careers since this came out. Terrible script with cringeworthy dialogue that can't even convince me that Catherine Zeta Jones is a sex starved bisexual with a wardrobe budget bigger than the combined value of the other actors fees, CGI and locations. Scary movie did it so much better. Special note to the director: Take my strong hand.
