Demon cop makes more sense incomprehensible maybe 25 jump "scares" that are completely un-scary not even a flinch, just loud noise, completely lazy and amazingly bad nonsense plot and editing, couldn't see anything
- MR_BigTime25 de enero de 2026This 2019 version of The Grudge is actually a better version than the 2004 iteration, no matter what their overall rating might suggest. It becomes easier to make sense of what's going on because this time the focus moves towards the curse itself, rather than try to give you a scare here and there while wrapping it all into a rather cryptic story. Lin Shaye adds some of the most memorable moments throughout the film, while I can also say I enjoyed my first time watching anything with Andrea Risebourough in it, as well as John Cho, William Sadler, Demian Bichir, and Frankie Faison, all of whom never disappoint.

- jacxcx18 de septiembre de 2025The film is very good, at times a bit confusing and chaotic, but very impactful and scary. I absolutely need to watch it again to fully understand the story and some details, but overall, it’s approved.
