- Desmond Dale24 de enero de 2025While I can't say it's particularly good in any fashion, I had a blast with the film. It's almost too easy to psychoanalize the director. He almost certainly was an emotionally stunted boob guy with mommy issues, some incel perspectives on women and an affiction for professional wrestling. The movie starts off a little slow but there are some horribly crummy innuendos and just enough schlock to keep my attention. I even started to wonder whether the person that recommended the film to me did so out of spite. But maybe around forty minutes in the film really ramps up the camp and just gets brilliantly stupid. I kind of suspect that the female actors were picked based on the size of their assets and did some softcore porn work. The effects are awesome in a gooey cruddy campy way and all of the actors really ham it up and sell the action, which definitely pays lots of homage to professional wrestling. All in all it made me wish that there was some sort of criterion like collective for restoring entertaining trash like this in production so that maybe one day we can see The Granny in all of its big-tittied-blood-splashing-glory.
