This might be Joe Dante’s best film. It gets better with each passing year. The soundtrack is superb and the characterizations are spot on. Each of us brats born of the suburbs has been all of these characters as we’ve grown up and into our twilight years. Sets the mood in the summertime… pre-Halloween vibes.
