Fight scenes are spectacular - easy to follow, deliberately brief with only a few blows here and there (too many films devalue battle by extending the spectacle and losing the story). Strong characters, powerful message. Deeply personal and affecting. Hosoda's first solo screenplay and it's a knockout.
