Top badass moment? Data protection, it’s becoming the new “I’ve got no mobile signal” for writers to use to limit what characters can do. In a town where no one is ugly and everyone talks bollocks almost all the time, a chap with a mental health concern that seems to have been triggered by his upcoming wedding, becomes a victim of a cyber-crime involving sex with strangers. Or something like that, it’s all a bit confusing and superficial. I think it’s making a point about the exploitation of digital footprints too, but that ends up more of a MacGuffin than anything else. For Jordan I recommend a trip to the Manosphere, if he wants to grow a pair and become the knob he clearly yearns to be. This is a film that’s good in a way only underachievers can be, i.e. the results are acceptable, but frustrating because of the wasted potential. Technically it looks great and the violence is emotionally powerful. File under very-US-style-comedy-that-doesn't-quite-work-for-Brits-like-me. And don’t bully delivery couriers, that’s really mean. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

The dialogue was weird, and the main guy was also weird. It made me laugh, but I'm not sure if it was supposed to be funny. I get it was trying to be a think piece, but as I watched this every time it got serious, I was like so this ISN'T a comedy??? It was shot nicely, I'll give it that, but as my fiance and I looked up the movie, we really felt like we had to have been watching the wrong movie, cause everyone else seems to think this is the best piece of media ever, and we just didn't get that... Favorite part of the movie was when I went "omg who wrote this??? Oh yea... you guys" That gave me a lil bit of a chuckle
