Con solo 4 años, Sujo es testigo del asesinato de su padre, un sicario del cartel. Él crece con la única compañía de su familia, pero, al llegar a la adolescencia, la violencia del narcotráfico irrumpe de nuevo en su vida.
- David Popomeya23 de agosto de 2026Loving seeing something different on the Mexican stories.
- Kevin Ward2 de julio de 2025Though Sujo is but just a young child when his father’s life is taken as a result of a life of crime, Sujo’s life seems to be set on an inescapable path of crime and violence as well. The film utilizes chapters with each chapter presenting a POV of a different character: his father, his auntie, his cousins, his teacher, and himself, and each chapter represents a different period in Sujo’s life. Despite some of their best efforts to send Sujo’s life on another trajectory, there’s a distinct feeling of inevitability, that makes the life of crime and violence feel hereditary. Whether you’re 8th or 40th, at some point your number is going to get called. Entertaining watch.
