Star Trek: Sección 31 Ratings & Reviews
- Kevin Ward5 de marzo de 2026Not a Star Trek junkie by any means, but this is easily the worst Star Trek-anything that I’ve ever seen. Even Michelle Yeoh can’t save this. (She is really starting to rack up the franchise paychecks since winning Oscar Gold.) Good for her.
- Conner Ogden24 de enero de 2025Absolute trash. Never should have been made.
- Lincoln Meakim29 de enero de 2026Silly comedy thriller with Star Trek tones
- Molimo7283 de enero de 2026They tried to make a Suicide Squad type movie where Star Trek meets 5th Element; unfortunately, they failed. I'm not sure why you'd want to make the most serious concept of Starfleet and possibly modern society, Section 31 - a black ops organization within the government that has little to no oversight, as ridiculous as possible. I believe making this into a serious drama showing how Section 31 could exist alongside Starfleet despite opposing ideals could've been beautiful. The good: -They added more background and a little bit more depth to Philippa Georgiou. -Shiny special effects The bad: -Everything else?
- Just_Johnny25 de enero de 2025Paramount Exec: "Let's make a wacky action comedy about a genocidal maniac. It'll be fun for the whole family!"
- capnamer25 de enero de 2025This wasn't made for Star Trek fans, that much is certain. Watching ten minutes of this before mercifully shutting it off makes me question whether I have more patience than I thought, or if I'm just incredibly gullible. I desperately waited for it to improve, but it only spiraled downwards. One eccentric character can add depth to a story, but a cast entirely composed of them is simply distracting and overwhelming. Many critics have echoed the sentiment that the show felt like a cheap imitation of other, better spy thrillers, lacking the nuance and philosophical depth that Star Trek is known for. The writing was particularly lambasted, described as "cliched," "predictable," and "insulting to the intelligence of the audience." Section 31 had the potential to be a compelling exploration of the darker side of the Federation, but it ultimately squandered that opportunity with its shallow characters, generic plotlines, and a complete disregard for the core values that have always defined Star Trek.
- Phasma_4224 de enero de 2025With the slew of projects being made tax write-offs, this one actually should have been. Oh dear.
- Justin Vanderhooft23 de marzo de 2025Incoherent garbage
- Arthas Menethil2 de septiembre de 2025I put a Curse on Alex Kurtzman; you've done nothing but curse Star Trek fans.
- harrypoth1 de enero de 2026Better than expected. Honestly reading most reviews leaves me thinking it was reviewed based on feelings and not the movie. I assume many did not even watch it.
- Tobin.Osler8 de noviembre de 2025I really, really wanted to like this, but it's easily the worst thing to come out of Star Trek. Nothing comes close. Enough said.
- liz4a6 de octubre de 2025I'm glad I don't have to give a full star for this fully crap Star Trek: Section 31 movie because it was presented more like a video game. The campiness seemed unintentional and the story was just plain bad. I had high hopes because I liked the Georgiou character in Discovery, and the concept of Section 31 as presented in various iterations of Star Trek.
- claros1 de junio de 2025The worst film of the Star Trek saga
- Chris Chatterje-Doody17 de agosto de 2025sigh...
- Robot Monster16 de julio de 2025It's a Star Trek film that also tries to incorporate Ocean's Eleven, Suicide Squad, and possibly Salo. The Kurtzman treatment implies inevitable failure, but this delivers it within the first 10 minutes. It is efficient!
