Where to Watch Sputnik
- Richard12 de octubre de 2025This one surprised me. I streamed it expecting a slow burn Russian take on Alien, and that’s exactly what I got, but with more soul and a colder, Soviet edge. Set in the early ’80s, it follows a cosmonaut who returns from orbit with something living inside him. Not a spoiler, it’s in the trailer. The real tension comes from the military facility trying to control it and the doctor brought in to separate man from monster. It’s not flashy, but it’s smart. Definitely one of those “hidden gem” sci-fi horrors that sticks with you. If you’re into The Thing, Life, or Arrival, this one earns its place on the shelf.
