Carga maldita Ratings & Reviews
- marshalsea3 de agosto de 2025A crap title that doesn't tell you anything of the depths of this. Feels like an old film, has that genuine arc and complicated characters. Be ready for a long build up to some excellent end sets. I'm not sure the last time I've felt so tense watching someone driving a truck but the bridge scene is famous for a reason. Definitely worth your time.
- Christopher King4 de abril de 2026Wow! What a film! I had no idea of what it was about nor what to expect from it, and that is probably the best way to see it. If I had known what I was getting into, I probably would never have started it. These kinds of movies simply are not made anymore for a lot of reasons, but to be specific, there are very few movies that are such a meditation on doom in the face an indifferent universe. It is shot like a documentary in that there are shaky camera shots and the feeling like we're seeing a real place in which the cameras are simply rolling on real life in hell. It is a sweaty, dirty, filthy, grimey movie that encapsulates suffering and that should make you grateful for your life and remember that no situation is ever so bad that it can't get worse in an instant. I found myself audibly vocalizing my discomfort several times during certain scenes. The growing anxiousness throughout the second hour had my breathing elevated to a full on heaving to which one succumbs when desperately in pain. The resolution does not actually resolve the tension, just provides a momentary respite from the inevitable. The look on Roy Schneider's face at the end is so *real* -- I literally broke down crying. Yes. This movie broke me.
- dug96014 de septiembre de 2025I find it hard to believe that a helicopter would've been a bumpier way to move moist nitroglycerin than two rusty old trucks along rocky mountain roads. That being said this was a helluva tense ride and an excellent movie... sorry you came out up against Star Wars, Sorcerer. You deserved better.
- spira2717 de febrero de 2026Slow burn at first, worth it though
- Kaldek12 de febrero de 2026It's not a deeply complex story, but it is really well told. Almost surreal in its predicament, but still feels very believable.
- Doc Worm30 de diciembre de 2025Bleak, tense and anxious. Sorcerer is the symphonic culmination of all great parts of cinema. Tight tracking shots and mean performances guide this story through its well paced beats from beginning to end. This is truly some of Friedkin and company’s best work.
- flavo4328 de diciembre de 2025Sorcerer is a raw, nerve‑shredding character drama that grips you from the opening scenes and never lets go. The film’s intensity comes not from spectacle but from the sheer human desperation driving its characters forward. As they navigate impossible terrain in rickety trucks loaded with volatile cargo, you almost feel like you’re in the cab with them—sweating, shaking, and fearing that every bump could be the last. William Friedkin builds tension with masterful precision, letting silence, atmosphere, and the actors’ haunted performances do the heavy lifting. The result is a film that’s less about action and more about the psychological toll of survival. Each character carries a past that weighs as heavily as the dynamite they transport, giving the story a powerful emotional undercurrent. Sorcerer stands as a gripping, beautifully crafted exploration of human endurance under unimaginable pressure.
- Michael Surber9 de diciembre de 2025I own so many copies of this film... Even though it is a remake it still holds up nearly fifty years later. Acting is sharp and to the point. Friedkin did a masterful job directing, even though it was dwarfed by the success of Star Wars. High marks from me if for no other reason than the incredible soundtrack by Tangerine Dream, recorded and delivered to WF while filming was still underway - never having seen a frame of film footage. Amazing stuff here.
- GrimeFiVideo9 de noviembre de 2025Fantastic film that excels in creating tension and anxiety. Beautiful cinematography throughout.
- True4112 de octubre de 2025It bombed in theatres and was said to have been bad timing or whatever. I gave it a shot, but it was meh. Good electronic soundtrack though.
- AngusMcNutz25 de enero de 2025Definitely one that gets points for effort, even if a decent amount doesn’t really pay off. Still, it’s got that late-70s grittiness, a love for beautiful low angles and a lot of impressive set pieces to see you through.
