    “It’s a material world and I’m a material girl.” “I’m always glad to see any young person doing something.” So many good lines!! Interesting parallels with Prince of Darkness re: quantum concepts! Second guy definitely had that tower shooter feel Somehow forgot Daniel Johnston had a song in this. Idk why he didn’t play the street guitarist! Linklater displays a crystal-clear understanding of conspiracy theories damn The L. Ron Hubbard reference jarred me. Did not realize how big Scientology was back then I guess! I bet Richard Kelly loves this film
