My quick rating - 5.5/10. This really isn't far off from the reality TV shows we will be seeing (and sort of already are seeing on YouTube). The basic premise is where I see this going right now. There are the prank shows, but once the market gets saturated with them, this movie steps in. Someone always comes along and one-ups the existing model. In this case, the team needs to come up with better content to compete with another show that has upped its game by looking ultra-realistic and violent. But when they try to turn the tide on one of their own crew for its big twist, then the fun here really begins. I liked the twists this one did throw in, I just wish more attention to the good ideas was followed through. Funny when it needs to be, violent at times as well. When it was time for a kill, this flick didn't shy away from the gore in the slightest. All leads up to an interesting ending. Also to note, the acting was not very good. Not that they really needed to do much, but often the characters either completely under-react to things or just go overboard in trying to react. There was no middle ground. Overall, not bad, but could've been executed much better. Maybe in the sequel, which they clearly lead into, these issues can be addressed, although the cat is out of the bag on their surprises.
