Pusher III completes the trilogy by shifting its focus once again, this time following Milo, a character who had previously been more of a supporting presence. Like the other films, it pulls you into its world almost immediately. Once you're inside, it's difficult to escape its constant feeling of tension and inevitable collapse. Compared to the previous entries, this chapter feels quieter and more reflective, but no less unsettling. The violence is used more sparingly, which makes it feel even more impactful when it erupts. Rather than building suspense through action, the film thrives on anxiety, watching Milo struggle to maintain control of a life that is slowly slipping away despite his attempts to convince himself otherwise. While I still prefer the first two films, Pusher III is a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. It maintains the same raw realism and emotional honesty that define the series, even if it doesn't reach the same intensity or emotional connection as its predecessors. It's another compelling portrait of people trapped by the lives they've built for themselves, and a fitting end to one of the most grounded crime trilogies I've seen.
