- Kevin Ward10 de agosto de 2026While I liked it, it kind of epitomizes what I find so frustrating about found footage films. The first half is more like faux documentary style setting up the missing persons and the events surrounding their disappearance. It works as a setup but it’s not terrible exciting, but I was reasonably engaged with it. The last act is the actual found footage portion, and it’s here that the film just gradually loses me. The camera shakes. We see virtually nothing. We hear the characters repeatedly screaming back and forth to one another about how “crazy” and “insane” everything that just happened is. Repeatedly. “That was Crazy!” “That was sooo insane!” And I always end up getting pulled out of it because I become painfully aware that these are just actors trying to make something very unexciting seem exciting. This is a pretty decent flick with a decent setup. The end just kind of fizzled for me.
