The opening, which seems to be many people’s favorite part, is almost entirely in the trailer which I had already seen in theaters. Just a note! Why was the horn stuck on when nobody was in the seat but not when the dude’s head was pressed against the steering wheel?? lol Very smart idea to stop and get out there at the end lol The plot and scares were egregiously predictable at points but the use of a projector as a flashlight was ingenuous so it almost evens out I think Andre liked Sinners a tiny bit too much. Also I think I don’t like happy endings anymore I realized I had fun and so did the audience so I can’t complain TOO much Watched at Warren Regal 21 Currently Ranked #42/80 in 2026 Ranked
- ricomckeehace 2 dThis was an outstanding horror movie. It is much better than the other passengers movie that is making the rounds. It has great buildup, good acting, but a so so backstory for the main baddy. Interestingly enough, this was the third movie I watched in a row that has references to missing persons posters. This must be the new thing in horror movies. Regardless it was outstanding you should definitely watch it and then watch it again.
- BeastModeAllDayhace 2 dThe director André Øvredal definitely knows what he's doing with the horror genre. He also directed the Autopsy of Jane Doe. In Passenger he creates suspense in the opening scene and just when you think you're free to relax he reels you back in with a jump scare. The supernatural element is backed by lore, but they could have written more to it. My only other nitpick, is the climax in the ending scene could have lasted longer and been more dramatic. With all that said, Passenger is definitely worth a watch and will keep you on the edge of your seat.
- Joseph Garlowhace 4 dSo going into this movie I had some high hopes, but they were not met. I didn't mind the pacing of the movie so much but I feel you don't learn as much about the "mysterious" figure along the way. I enjoyed the idea of this movie but while I was watching it I felt like I was having trouble staying with it. Do I regret watching...maybe, would I watch again...heck no! Watch for yourself though and you decide!
