I read this movie had a budget of just $6.6M. If true, this movie is IMPRESSIVE. I really enjoyed it! Fun genre mashup of classic hooks. Cool practical effects on the aliens. Yeah, I'm not sure what the folks leaving harsh reviews expected...but... maybe the movies they make will be better...🫢 Glad I watched it. I put this on the shelf with that movie Blood Vessel.

Special Forces soldiers get abducted mid mission by aliens and wake up in a hostile extraterrestrial arena. It’s Predator meets Hellraiser, with practical effects that punch above their budget and creature design that’s surprisingly solid. Linda Hamilton shows up and adds gravitas, while Max Martini leads the squad through orange-and-teal wastelands and alien shootouts. The story? Thin. Subplots fizzle, pacing stumbles and the CGI wobbles. You’ll spot helmets on stuntmen and sets that feel more “warehouse” than “spaceship.” But that’s part of the charm. I’d call it a gritty throwback, rough around the edges, but pulpy enough to keep you watching. Osiris doesn’t quite reach orbit, but it has enough charm for fans of B-movie sci-fi. If you're in the mood for alien shootouts and don’t mind some narrative turbulence, it’s worth a one-time watch.
- ricomckee26 de octubre de 2025A slightly above average B movie with decent effects and poor storyline. Too much shooting. That’s hard to say for an action movie but trust me. However… it got an extra half a star because there is a brilliant scene where the actor sings “Straight Out of Compton” to lead the aliens and it is done so well… that it makes the movie worth seeing.
- marshalsea4 de octubre de 2025Don't expect anything new - a hodge podge of old scifi films, but... it aint bad. Only real complaint is it's a bit dark - get it but not worth the style over visibility, Set design good, acting good, fx good, story just a bit derivative and if thats the worst I can say about a story well thats pretty good going in this day and age of childish tat. Some definite homages that are well played. Builds tension but misses a chance by having all the characters involved so you grieve their loss. Squad ops are well observed, lots of making sure theyre dead goodness. Worth your time over the endless disney high quality fx low written by idiots trash.
