This would be the best episode of punk’d ever. None of this shit would be happening if I got to wake up next to Jennifer Lawrence every morning.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. This makes Rubber (2010) look like an award winner on the level of the Godfather. This movie is the equivalent of that friend who got their Master's degree, therefore thinking they are smarter and more intelligent than you because they regurgitate gobbledygook while using big words yet when you actually decipher what they actually said, it is meaningless or just a rehash or regurgitation of someone else's words. If you enjoy pretentious BS, pig slop pretending to be Opera cake, then this movie is for you.

This is too much to try to be different from the scenarist / director point of view

This film, filled with Christian symbolism and created by a director who declares himself an atheist, appears to be a critique of humanity's drive towards self-destruction. But on a consolation: Mother Nature will be reborn anyway.

A rushed crochet cloak of multiple colors and many loose ends, that's what this movie is. Pretentious, yes, as the movie is trying to cover too much without giving any character, even those that are in the lead, any authority that their words could carry some weight. That being said, concept was great and the way chaos in the second half was executed was brilliant, but then again, it's Darren Aronofsky we are talking about.

This somehow is both very heavy handed with the symbolism, but also very vague about what it symbolizes. There is some really insane imagery so at least it’s a good movie to fall down a rabbit hole.

Arronofsky knows how to make his audience suffer and "Mother!" might be the most effective example of it.
