Mortal Kombat Ratings & Reviews
- beastwarking19 de marzo de 2026The best videogame film adaptation from the 90s
- Streetter4 de septiembre de 2025One of the greatest movies of all time. Has an infinite re-watch value!
- ADONIS00912 de febrero de 2026You can tell this was fire back in the day—the vibe hits different and the theme song never misses. Don’t expect too much, but it’s definitely something you can just sit back and enjoy.👌
- Leonard Mosca20 de febrero de 2025Now everyone's appreciates this mortal Kombat it was good we came out now people starting to appreciate more thank God
- Hipster ZOMBIE1 de abril de 2025As the OG Mortal Kombat film, this live action interpretation delivers a fun joyride that can be described as cheesy at times. The characters—Liu Kang (Robin Shou), Johnny Cage (Linden Ashby), and Sonya Blade (Bridgette Wilson)—are faithfully portrayed, and their interactions are often fun to watch. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa’s performance as Shang Tsung is particularly standout; his menacing presence and the now-iconic delivery of “Your soul is mine!” make him one of the most memorable villains in video game movie history. The fight choreography is another highlight. The film embraces its martial arts roots, delivering entertaining, well-staged battles that feel true to the game. Say what you will about director Paul WS Andersons other films (Resident Evil; Monster Hunter) but his MK film is still the best of the franchise.
- Recordedsnake1 de enero de 2026Mortal Kombat is a fun, high-energy ’90s classic that embraces its video-game roots. With iconic music, memorable characters especially Shang Tsung and solid fight scenes, it delivers pure nostalgic entertainment. Still one of the best video-game movie adaptations.
- Sarah J12 de diciembre de 2025Tbh more movies should have techno theme songs
- Jake17 de septiembre de 2025MOOOOOOOORTAL KOMBAAAAAAAT! Captures the 90s vibe well enough, the story is fun, characters are goofy, cheese is cheesy, it's exactly what you'd expect 😉
- mickerdoo12 de julio de 2025Say what you will but I'm entertained. Even if I'm laughing through it. Plus amazing theme song. <3 Kitana & Sonya.
- gmrxbox15 de octubre de 2024The definition of dumb, cheesy fun that knows exactly what it is and doesn't get too caught up in the details. Well-paced, and the special effects are actually occasionally impressive, which I did not expect to say. A strong contender for best Video Game Adaptation (which is not a tough field to win). Watch the first five minutes of the sequel afterward, and you'll understand what a disaster this movie could have been.
