The project title Monarda, also called Bee Balm, refers to a red flower particularly attractive to the hummingbird for its nectar. I limited myself to working with only a few motion clips, relying on several software programs to suggest the direction of the project. Abstract colors, shapes, and sounds were the refined results, and the core elements used to produce the film.
