- Lone Wolf26 de febrero de 2026I get the concept and I like the style of writing, the acting, but it was just way too much blood and gore. Seriously if anyone’s watching this, it is very gory but in saying that It really did have potential, but I feel like this is it a flop.. and I don’t think that was the actor fault, or the writers.. but I think it’s on the directors etc. They just did not hit the bench mark, the way it was meant to. As I truly do see the concept, great movie but it lost the creepy factor for me! The gore was too much and too long, Also, because they didn’t round it up in the way, it had percent sure I kind of just becomes another movie as tales as old as time. Main character energy was great though.
- Jordan Jones22 de enero de 2026Maniac did have some redeeming qualities about it such as, whenever he kills somebody you see it from his POV, which made the movie interesting in that aspect. I really liked the long takes, whenever he was going after his victims, it made it feel more realistic as if it was happening in real time. Also I really liked the performance from Elijah Wood, as the unhinged killer, but everything else surrounding those couple of qualities about the film, isn't anything to write home about whatsoever and it does test your patience to be honest. Also on a story and plot level, there's nothing here it's just very basic, hollow & predictable.
- Pascal Bollier13 de enero de 2026unsettling little serial killer flick. being put in the pov of the killer is effective and the violence does not feel gratuitous at all, it creates a connection between the viewer and the killer that is as disturbing as it is informative. good performance by frodo. at first i thought it to be a mere stunt casting, but i was wrong. it works very well in the context of movie. recommended!
