- Zokkiie3 de abril de 2026I haven’t seen it in at least 16 years, and coming back to it now, it really surprised me how well it holds up. It feels grounded and sincere in a way you don’t see that often anymore—no unnecessary spectacle, just a story told with confidence. What really stands out is Joseph Fiennes—he absolutely carries it. There’s a quiet intensity to his performance that never feels forced, and he brings a lot of depth without overdoing anything. You can tell he fully understood the role. It’s not perfect and slows down a bit in places, but the performances—especially his—make it easy to stay invested. Thoughtful, well made, and definitely worth revisiting.

Llevado ante la Dieta Imperial de Wörms, Lutero se niega a retractarse, a menos que puedan probar, basándose en la Biblia, que sus tesis son falsas. A continuación es acusado de herejía y excomulgado por el Papa León X. En esta situación se ve obligado a escapar y vive como un proscrito mientras traduce el Nuevo Testamento del latín al alemán.
