- carter288211 de diciembre de 2025Krampus is an underrated Christmas horror film; That might just be a new Christmas classic!! The movie has such an interesting premise and story to tell, I have always been so infested in the story of Krampus and this movie just explains it pretty good; the movie explains the rules and the lore pretty nicely. The cast is really good in this movie, especially the main kid he was actually pretty decent in this film. The movie also has some great scares and intense sequences. Well, the movie has its fair share of scares; The comedy is gold for me in this film, it’s nothing special, but it still works and doesn’t fail to get me laughing a lot. The visual effects are very well done and Krampus especially looks so creepy in this film. The movie also comes with a sort of twist ending that’s actually pretty dark and shocking. So overall a great Christmas horror film that’s a lot of fun and definitely a movie I would recommend to watch around Christmas!!
- Scott Thomas20 de noviembre de 2025I remember watching this when it first came out qand thinking it was just okay. Now that I'm older and can truly empathise with the family drama, I can appreciate it more.
- Kevin Ward1 de julio de 2025Not really sure how I had never seen this but I hadn’t. Just something so cool about mythical horned, hooved beingjumpung around along rooftops. However the managed to pull off the look, it worked really great. I did not realize Toni Collette was in this or I would have crossed this off my naughty list sooner.
- Hakihiko28 de diciembre de 2024A Mischievous Holiday Horror With Mixed Results "Krampus" offers a fresh holiday horror twist, blending dark humor with festive frights. The concept of the titular Christmas demon punishing those who lose the holiday spirit is intriguing and provides a unique counterpoint to traditional holiday tales. The film starts strong, with a biting satire of consumerism and dysfunctional family dynamics that sets the stage for chaos. Visually, Krampus shines. The creature designs and practical effects are well made, and the dark, snowbound atmosphere effectively conveys a sense of foreboding. The titular Krampus is menacing, and his sinister helpers add a creepy yet whimsical flair. However, the movie stumbles in its execution. The tone oscillates between horror and comedy, sometimes undermining the tension and making it difficult to take the scares seriously. While some moments are genuinely unsettling, others lean too heavily on camp, which diminishes the overall impact. The characters are serviceable, but they lack depth, making it hard to care about their fates. The film also struggles with pacing, dragging in the middle and rushing through its climax. The ending, while memorable, feels more confusing than satisfying. Overall, Krampus is an entertaining but uneven holiday horror. It's worth a watch for its unique concept and visuals, but it doesn't fully deliver on its potential.
