- Peter Bickfordhace 3 dReeves and Armas elevate what otherwise is a typical Eli Roth thriller: 2/3 intriguing domestic drama, 1/3 bat-crazy "throw it at the screen and see if it works" storytelling. If Roth could have worked out a little bit more of the "Why?" And "How?" Parts of the story, it would have been a full star higher. As is, a cool concept, but ultimately, a bit of a mess of a movie.

The premises are pretty much the same, but in Knock, Knock it has a more serious approach. Also, I keep joking to myself that this is the unofficial prequel to John Wick. But yeah worth watching

If you answer No on both then you won’t like it, and without spoiling I can’t give more context than that, so in deciding whether you even want to watch this depends on if you’re willing to take a risk with your own time.
