- Phool®30 de noviembre de 2025Ice Road: Vengeance – A Total Wreck If the first Ice Road film was a decent, if forgettable, slice of mindless action, Ice Road: Vengeance crashes straight through that thin ice into cinematic disaster. This sequel ditches what little charm the original had and delivers a film so poorly written, acted, and edited that it’s almost impressive in its failure. Let’s be clear, there is no ice road. That alone feels like false advertising. What we get instead is a messy, low-effort sequel that somehow manages to be even less believable than its predecessor. As someone with a deep personal connection to Nepal, it was initially enjoyable to spot familiar Kathmandu locations. But even that becomes frustrating, as the film lazily loops around the same streets, trying to pass them off as a journey across the country. It’s geographically laughable and visually repetitive. And to top it off? They act like you can drive to Mount Everest. To misquote Boromir: “One does not simply drive to Mount Everest.” The acting is shockingly bad, even for a low-budget action flick. Liam Neeson does his best with what little he’s given, but the rest of the cast, particularly the young girl, struggle to bring any emotional weight or believability. Her reaction to her father’s death is bafflingly underplayed, and the direction leaves almost every character feeling flat and awkward. The script feels like it was churned out by an AI after reading a few action movie clichés. The dialogue is painfully predictable, and the plot is beyond ridiculous—rebuilding a bus chassis in 20 minutes is just one of many moments that insult the viewer’s intelligence. In short, Ice Road: Vengeance is a film to avoid at all costs, unless you’re studying how not to make a film.
- Vethod12 de septiembre de 2025Ice Road: Vengeance looks like it was filmed on a flip phone, edited on Windows 98, and dubbed with a microphone stolen from a karaoke bar. The CGI is so cheap it makes Sharknado look like Avatar, and the sound swings harder than Liam Neeson pretending he can free-climb at 73. This isn’t a movie — it’s a budget disaster cosplay. Verdict: If pain had a runtime, it’d be this.
